Sunscreen Mixed Samples

Another long surf session in the Tahitian water and felt covered for hours. Find what tint works best for you and go.

I wanted a tinted stick that was reef safe and had staying power, so I pulled the trigger on the Sahara shade. I've been surfing this most recent south swell at a certain San Diego canyon break. After 2+ hour sessions, the sun-screen still wiped off on my towel, which proved it's staying power. Unburnt and I don't look white-ghostfaced when I go to get my post-session burrito. However, be warned, if you're precious about your towels maybe have some wipes or a separate face towel if that'll bother you. I'll recommend this stuff to the rest of my surf club.

I’m a daily surfer and maximizing my water time means hours on end in the sun for me. I’m half Irish so good sunscreen is essential. This stuff goes on smooth, stays on and doesn’t run into my eyes, keeps my skin feeling fresh and hydrated, and helps me keep surfing as long as I want! I’m so fired up and can’t believe I’ve gone so long using anything else. Thank you Charlie and Sunmud team - you guys definitely know what’s up! 🤙

Works great. The tan tint is barely noticeable

I initially wanted to return this after realizing it has oils that oxidize in sunlight. I had read that could plausibly be bad for sensitive or eczema prone skin. Everyone’s skin is different, but in my case it turns out I was wrong. After other alternative products didn’t work for other reasons (bad ingredients or bad skin tone match), I had the person I got this for try Sunmud instead of returning it. It works perfectly for their skin tone and doesn’t cause irritation or eczema. Additionally, the texture is so nice that it actually works well as concealer for dark circles. Love that it’s space efficient and comes in a plastic free container as well.

I crossed paths with Charlie and Maricruz in the dog beach parking lot. I had been drone filming a sunset session and wanted to tell them I may have gotten clips of them surfing. Charlie asked me if I wore sunblock and I immediately thought to myself first of all, is my skin really that bad, that he was able to notice it when it was dark outside and next was like this guy is really mean. I was wrong on both accounts. They were smiling from ear to ear and were both very passionate as they began to tell me about SUNMUD. He stoked me out with a sample of the Ivory mineral sunscreen. I’m from south florida - we know sunscreens - trust. They are onto something here. Used it today and loved the product - not greasy and did not run into my eyes at all. Stayed on for whole day coverage. I just hope I can find their surfing clips now…anyways, hope we cross paths again sometime - see u in the water🤙!Aaron
