On National Recycling Day, many organizations, municipalities, and schools host events, workshops, and campaigns to educate the public on proper recycling habits and the importance of reducing waste. It’s also a time to recognize efforts in improving recycling systems and finding innovative solutions to waste management challenges.
For us at SUNMUD its a time to reflect on our impact, and unite in our mission to provide products that emphasize eco-friendliness. A huge advantage of using aluminum-based packaging is that it is infinitely recyclable. As opposed to plastic which often does not get recycled and if it does can only be recycled twice. Not to mention it accounts for over 5% of global waste issues. Both plastic production and disposal contribute to around 3% of greenhouse gas emissions.
